I have recently bought a 2000 996 C2 since when I have been reading all related topics on this forum - a source of information second to none. Having owned a red Italian sports car (we won't mention the marque here) I was used to a far throatier sound, so was particularly interested in the subject of retro-fitting the sports exhaust. Having carried out a thorough review of all major manufacturers I have opted for the Porsche switchable system in order to keep the car as standard as possible. Posheworx in Belsize Park have carried this out. Whilst at it I had a Becker Traffic Pro, a K&N air filter and bigger tailpipes fitted. Mario from Posheworx is dropping it off this afternoon and then I'm off to Normandy with the lady to enjoy it. Right now I haven't heard it so I thought it may be useful to anyone out there thinking of having it done to hear a "before and after" tale, in order to better assess whether you might want to have it fitted too. Any suggestions/comments/questions would be welcome, otherwise I'll report back on Monday having had the Sports Exhaust Experience.

Welcome to the forums Have fun in Normandy (great roads as they are normally much less busy than english ones and the drivers aren't such numpties and tend to have better lane discipline) and let us know what you think of the exhaust. Also let us know how the 996 compares to your old red blooded latin beast.

Cheers
