You get a good idea of just how quick cars are on the back straight out of bergwerk, it's just so steep. Say my old r26.r used to bog down at 125mph, the ZM gets to 140, the gtr I drive there is bloody quick at 160 but this thing, bloody hell I just got out of its way! Must have been 170+ going up there!

Definitely best in red Craig. Do you have a high res version of that pic you could let me have ?
My old 996 GT2 with remap and Ruf exhaust used to sound awesome at full chat, can only imagine what that 2 RS must've sounded like !

I'm amused as to why a cat d would not interest you but a high miler would ?.
Such a cliche really - I have had an amazing time in mine knowing it was a cat d when I bought it but thoroughly checking it out properly and having all receipts from the previous build.
Give me low mileage anytime.
If the car is A1 then you have a perfect base to improve further ie/ suspension, performance etc etc
Mines up for sale now but obviously as a cat d you wouldn't be interested...

I'm seriously thinking about a 996 turbo, but I'd really like a GT2 as I prefer rear wheel drive, the only problem is that I would have to save for another year or towards a GT2, which also puts them into 997t pricing? Car would be a weekend/evening toy only, so not bothered about comfort too much etc.
