That is gorgeous. It may have finally made the 996TT vs 997C2S decision for me
How many red ones are there?
I posted a link earlier in the thread for one for sale. Its been around for ages but the price was too high (£28k at first I think). Now approaching a negotiating figure. How many red ones are there?

slighty off subject but ive been looking at these for a while just wondered what the thoughts were with the manual one at 911 virgin seems a good price?
I agree it looks a cracking price from Henry. He must be going soft!Although Northways have one which had been around for a very surprising amount of time.
Again shame they are both silver!

A quick update after 14 months....
Go on then....- *************************************************************
Well I've now put circa 12k miles on in 14 months and loved every minute of it.
The 996 turbo really is an amazing car to live with. On a nice day it's a pleasure to stretch it's legs when the opportunity arises and it devours the tarmac. It really excels when the weather is bad and you want to get from A-to-B quickly without any drama, it's simply unflappable. With other cars you wish you were in a normal car, the turbo sticks to the road and doesn't put a wheel out of place.
I haven't had too many surprises, a couple of rear tires (due to a nail in one of the rears), a clutch cylinder and regular oil top ups.
After sales service and support from the team at RSJ has been great. The couple of jobs, service, MOT have all been booked in and carried out drama. Thankyou
Hope everyone is enjoying their 996 turbo as much as me!

I must concur with most of your comments. I'm only 3k miles into my ownership experience and it's been absolutely brilliant in how it can combine the performance & handling of a supercar, do the motorway run or pottle along to Tesco's at the drop of a hat. However, spoiler rams have just been replaced under warranty (a £1.5K job!) and the aircon re-gassed. Looking foward to experiencing the extremes of the envelope on track and have a Nurburgring, Stuttgart, Stelvio, Maranello jaunt planned for August, with my son.
ps. I bought a Boxster off Joel at RSJ, when he was still selling cars from the back of his house...how times change! A good chap and knows his stuff!!

Watch out for condensers (the aircon "radiators") it is possible that they are on the way out, so don't spend too much on re-gassing before finding out why you need re-gassing at all.If you have never taken off the front bumper to clean up the rads, I suggest you do, unless warranty covers absolutely all eventualities.
