How much should I pay for a 964 turbo 3.6..

He paid a deposit unseen and has now looked at the car and agreed that it is what he wanted. There was a lot of interest in it.
I found another leak in the AC, which is the Evaporator, this is has just been replaced and the car goes to the new owner tomorrow, I let him know and have had it fixed by Autostrasse.
I hope that the new owner has fun and looks after it.

Having started the topic I thought it might be apt to conclude it!!
Having paid what in the beginning looks like a bargain now, I returned the car to the supplying dealer for reasons out of my control.
So just over 26 months later I am in the possession of another one. Having looked at 4 in the last 12 months, 2 with the owners wanting a lot more than I have paid but in nothing like the same condition I am pleased to say Russ at JZM has found me a very nice car. 25 stamps in the book and an original panelled car I cannot wait to get my hands on her. She drives lovely.
I was fortunate enough to buy another car in the meantime ( not Spider-Man) that increased even better in value that I have sold to purchase the 964.
It's interesting looking back at the comments from certain individuals telling me I had paid to much and how I would catch a cold.
So, double the money nearly, I am sure I will be told again I will catch a cold, but I have the car I was always looking for and I cannot wait. I even think they still look good value for money :-). The best looking Porsche of all time!!

If a 3.6 is £200k's worth surely a 3.3 at £50-60k has got to be better value now?
You know that sub 30k mile 3.3 are up for £100k now? I agree doesn't have the limited numbers of 3.6 but maybe better to buy a mint 3.3 and chuck some speedlines on if you want a 964 turbo. Will never be a 3.6 though!Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
