WTF
What is all this rev range bollax, we are talking very high performance german cars here, i reckon its all been blown out of proportion.
I am sure my GT2 has been in a certain numbered range (not sure but so what!) which is deemed high,FFS if you give it some beans in first its difficult not to hit the limiter, never entered my head when i bought it or any of the other 8 911's i've owned.
It drives lovely goes like fck and hardly users oil, no bangs/knocking or strange noises either and has been in Porsche warranty all its life so who feckin cares.
Rant over. Off tut gym.

If you approach an OPC for an approved used warranty they'll check rev range output and if they don't like what they see they'll refuse it. This RS won't qualify for a warranty due to its age. But all the same it is relevant.

I thought that the OPC warranty was open to all `qualifing` cars under 10 years old?

Mine is ok then if this rule applies in OPC warranty until 2010.

It is but over revs don't qualify.

Now has wheel centers, but they've obviously been cast in rhodium (was in the PH classifieds recently at £54K) now somewhat more . . . . .

Funny how a post on PH gets the dealer running to reply (although not HWM LoL).

I was really keen on a 930 Turbo Yorkshire Classics had a while back. Because I live the other end end of the country I asked to have the service book scanned in and emailed to me together with the 2 or 3 major invoices for proof of the work done. Never heard a dickey bird. Maybe I should have posted the request on here!
