Is that good or bad?
Edited, I have just done a search and now understand that I don't want to deal with someone connected to Sean!

Was up for sale at dodgy seans a good while back, again with no caps or splitter.
You would think someone would spend the £300 it needs to rectify these items asap in order to make it more attractive. Tyres also an issue as mentioned

Tyres also an issue as mentioned You would be amazed, there was a dealer who had a 944 for sale at top money, but the hinge on the centre arm rest was broken. This is an £11 part and takes five minutes to fix. What kind of dealer would leave that out, and then get the car reviewed by a magazine? A thick one!

Firstly
We at Yorkshire Classic and Sports Cars are not connected to Mr Lockyear in the slightest.
We have however the GT3RS in stock which is owned by a private individual and we are SOR with this car.
Secondly
The wheels caps were not on the car when it arrived with ourselves and when first photo'd, they are now on the car take a look at the pictures.
Thirdly
If the owner doesnt wish to have the front spliter on his car then that is his choice.
We are trying to do a client a favour to sell his car for him there is nothing wrong with the car, if there was we wouldnt have taken it in to sell, he has been burnt in the past by an individual and it is not fair that the car and ourselves are recieving bad press about this. It was the dealer at fault not the car!!
Good reputations like ours are hard to build as it is, without negative comments about or clients cars like this.
And to finish
Not sure how bad this is but 12,053 ignitions in range 1.
Very good if you do the maths, works out to around 90secs of red line in its life so over 8 years thats 11 times a year. Rev Range 2 is the one to worry about as this is checking for revved in excess, this is at 0.
I hope this clears everything up!!
Any questions on this matter please call me
Regards
Dan Yorkshire Classic and Sports Cars

I do miss my GT3RS. So the thing that noone's spotted that is very hard for yorkshire Dan to repudiate is the colour. Blue bits=much slower than red bits...sorry Bert

http://www.ycsc.co.uk/porsche%20gt3rs.htmlSure enough, the caps are now on, also the car looks better with the '53 plate. It looks a very nice car, although the tyres don't match front to back (mix of MPS Cups and Pirelli Corsa's) which would be nice on an RS, that said I bought my GT3 with tyres that didn't match front to back and it never swapped ends. The PCCB discs would be nice, even if they were just in a box in the boot. I hope you and your customer find a buyer for it.

Seems reasonable money to me. Having owned a red one briefly previously, I've decided I'd go blue next time ! The dealer in question has posted on here previously with regards to the SL connection. There is none. IIRC, he stated very clearly he bought some/all of ? the stock from the administrator/liquidator. This car obviously doesn't even fall into that category. Personally I wouldn't fret over the tyres. Check out the pair which are the newest/best suit your needs and factor in/negotiate the price of replacing the two required to make a set up. Ditto the front splitter. As the vendor says (and just like the car I've bought) who's to say why the splitter isn't on the car ? The PO of my car removed it because it grounded out everytime he drove it onto his drive. Sometimes it's cheaper to remove the splitter than to re-engineer your driveway or move house . . . No affiliation etc

i think you'll find that blue is faster.... looks like a sound car to me, well played for the dealer to post here. get an indi inspection to be sure if you like and it's good to go at a fair price. i'd be tempted myself, but alas for me my GT3 days are past.

Rev Range 2 is the one to worry about as this is checking for revved in excess, this is at 0. It's actually even better than that: there are 3 ignitions per revolution so it's actually only 30 seconds at the limiter
