PCM Sat Nav - why bother to order on a new Porsche?

PCM2 is rubbish, much better with a decent phone holder and Waze or Google Maps. Even if it was PCM3 I still wouldn't bother as it's antique.
+1PCM is a beard-scratcher/OPC profit margin option these days. Waze and a kenu mount and black charger cable (to keep the cable discreet) is the way forward.
Integration is a great benefit.
I have 2006 Cayman, old school PCM but with latest maps.
Yes it can't do half of what I have in my phone but it's always there, has dashboard display and has directed me around Europe without issue.
No wires, no cradles, no remembering to switch to the right app, no waiting for GPS fix and speedometer feed to keep it working in tunnels.
Still wouldn't buy a car without it.
