Blimey after watching the clip at the Nurburgring, I'm glad I haven't the money for it. The damn thing was fighting for the armco on the straights let alone the corners. If that was down to the massive power, then they can keep it.
It looked like they'd sprayed the rears with oil before letting her out on track.
It just looked very hard work and not much fun after a while.

Stefan Roser the Ruf test driver had the back end deliberately set up loose for show boating. Massive slides at big mph with lots of tyre smoke. That said they would still be quite a handful with all that power in a narrow body. It's always been on my list of 911's to own. Awesome machine

I love the instantaneous switch from understeer to oversteer to understeer!! Now that is some trick.


There was a CTR at Elvington for Ten of the Best a few years ago - top speed runs were incredible - it was simply so fast!

Yellowbirds are a lot of fun and a lot of fun to drive. They have a real lightness and balance, the engine is very smooth too. Obviously if you take the pi$$ it'll throw you off the road.

The only thing I would like on the car is abs.

Hi Adam,

I seem to remember traction was limiting your 1/4 mile times!!! Your standing mile was very competitive.



It tried driving a CTR around the 'Ring in Grand Turismo - could never complete the lap - it was like driving on ice in slicks!
