Was that a F430 Scuderia at 2:43?

Nicely done... not that much slower than the recent 7:37 for the 991S.

It is a F458 Italia. The 991 pilot also loses some time to the Orange 997 RS which he breezes past smile

His missus is also in passenger seat talking to him, gotta be worth a 5 second penalty wink

Since it is PH, I'll say there is no such thing as an F430 Scuderia.

Impressive lap time in a standard car, and there looked like a little more time in that lap he did, some might why do you need more power looking at that.

That looked to be pretty committed and good driving by someone who knew the circuit well. Impressive.

Porsche claims that 991 S can do full lap in 7:40.

I noticed that later that he did not finish the full lap. So much for commenting early... but still a great run!

And Porsche just release a video of one of their 991 S that did 7:37.9. See http://youtu.be/OnSpVN0-wio

Is it just my iPhone or are the graphics and audio about 200m behind the visuals?

Yes, this (c2) is bridge to gantry and not a full lap.

Just as a counterweight to the C2S time and how quick it is, here is the 997 GT2RS doing the same bridge to gantry lap as the C2 in 7minutes 16 seconds.

A bit of man maths suggests that Timo Glock time in the C2S is pretty damn close to the GT2-RS.

Car sounds lovely, probably could do it quicker without passenger. Surprised S that much quicker.

Either the driver or the passsenger sounded like Sabine....the lap could have been even quicker but they were held up a couple of times.....and of course there is the extra passenger weight to consider..
