If it's Guernsey bear in mind that you need to add VAT if you bring it to the UK (I think), which makes it £70k..........

Just a quick question, are the 996 GT2s as hardcore as a 993 GT2? Or just a more powerful rwd Turbo? (Not that that's a bad thing)

I saw one at Donnington a few weeks ago, and would have to say it was slightly disappointing. Just looked like a well optioned Carrera, where I was expecting bare metal and/or carbon fibre etc etc.

Basically, no.

The 996GT2s were a lot more road-biased as machines, with air con, airbags etc. That isn't to belittle their performance - they are ballistic and weight saving measures were introduced for the model over the turbo (like with a GT3) - just that they aren't as raw as the old 993GT2.
