Lets see some footage of this beast then!

I take it its the GT which looks like a GT2.
I know Craig at VMAX says its a bit of an animal.
I'll have to come down to brunters and meet you guys.
If you are around for next Vmax, I'll take you out for run if you fancy

That would be good of you.

Pleasure would be mine bud... Craig is trying to arrange one last Vmax this year. Would think he announces in the next days on the PH Vmax site and on his FB site. It's nearly always a Sat.

In the UK you can get insurance for our packages through a couple of places that will do an agreed value which is (Donor Car + Total Value of Upgrade - less labour). So for example if the Donor was 25k, Package £25k of which £5k was labour, then the agreed value is £45k. They (broker) receive full disclosed list of all components plus estimate of hp.

An example on say a 9E25 kit insurance is around 1k for 40 year old, garaged, Full no claims.

Got quite a few customers on this scheme. It was one of the first things we arranged when we started to offer our packages. It is not the same as say doing a stage 1 tuning. Then your insurance company is only going to penalise you.

I'm looking forward in trying a Vmax event next year in my 9e25 996 TT.

Will be going onto the insurance scheme that Ken is talking about also.

Sounds like you had a hassle free deal Ed, GT2 was a cracking motor and another one to chalk up and add to the list...you must nearly have had a full set now. Good to know that you can get the Crimp Jnr's in the back mate...all the Mac Ds and sweet wrappers in there'll keep you busy.

Catch up soon fella.

Nope still here, alive and kicking (occasionally answering the phones at 9e).

Had so much going on this year I parked the car up after the 206 mph run at Bruntingthorpe, until we decided what to do next.

911Vikings build and a couple others in the shop took president, so both mine and Kens haven't been touched.

I was very lucky and HH let me drive his car. Lap 2 in the rain, 209 mph, no drama, except I went to change gear and my hand it the door (left hand drive). That is a seriously refined car, both in a straight line and on the bendy bits!!!!

Everything OK with you??beer

All's well up North mate, not done as many miles in the turbo over last 12 months due to the ronnied knee but that's on the mend now so back to maximum attack next year. Been fannying about with a V12 Merc recently...only need one leg for that as it's an auto with cruise etc. cool

Piece of piss Andy to be honest, 911v very easy to deal with
Only one missing is the 993 Turbo, they're just over priced and under achieving IMO. Only other Pork to tempt me Andy would be another impractical GT, in 997 GT3 Guise (Love them)
Still contemplating whether to leave standard or fettle it. Its a lot quicker than the last 6T i had, and it was commented on via 911V how quick it was. Must be the new Turbo's Ken put on. wink

Trust me just standard turbos but like I said the majority of turbos are not optimised as standard.
