And so the journey starts.

After a night with little sleep, off I go to go and get the great white buffalo.

A supercar awaits, a special car.

I hope she goes over the speed bumps without the body kit ripping off.

Buffalo = bull = Lambo??? Or am I overthinking this?

Can't see a Panamera having problems with speed bumps.

Firstly, all credit to the original owner of this car who was responsible for specifying one of the most beautiful Porsche's I have ever seen, without his good taste none of this would have been possible.

And thankyou to OPC Cambridge for the hassle free buying process.

Now, the title of the topic refers to not only the car's colour, it refers to the fact that I always wanted to own a Porsche Exclusive design car, this is a car where the options list has been plundered to deliver a particular effect. Deviated stitching, carpets and specific options such as body kit combine with more standard options such as sport bucket seats and wheels to create something out of the norm. Sometimes these options are mis-used and the outcome is not great, sometimes they create a spectacular car.

The good 2009 reg cars on the used market, in my budget, which fall into this category are as rare as hens teeth in the adverts and so this represents a culmination of 6 months watching the classifieds.

I appreciate that to some this will be of no interest at all. In fact there are many on the forum who despise this sort of customisation and cost in favour for a basic, stripped out "monks cave" looks of the GTx cars. They see these options as Porsche moving away from its roots and what it stands for and I can understand why.

If you are one of these types, I suggest you quit this thread now before I upload the pics.

There are a couple of things you should know about this car firstly, I bought it blind. Secondly, it does go over speed bumps.

I bought it blind as i knew just by reading the spec that the original owner is a true Porsche enthusiast. I won't call him a Porsche nut as that would be rude of me but clearly we have some higher level Porsche petrolheadism going on here, such was the attention to every detail.

Also, competition in the market for these types of cars at this end of the used market is pretty fierce at the moment and I had already missed out on a car the previous week, I was not willing to take that chance with this one.

I hit all dozen speed bumps at mostly 5mph on the way home, sleeping policemen were not a problem although the little nasty ones were.
