Well played. I went to look at a lovely black cabriolet with tan leather he had a month of two back. Decided against that particular car at the time but definitely someone I would view with again. No hard sell, came across as open and honest. I guess this proves my first impressions correct.

IMHO No-one can really predict these sort of major failures no matter how careful they are with their selection, but its how they are dealt with that counts.

7 years on. Having read all about Hartech I set out to find a 997 with a Hartech rebuild. Found a one owner car with Phil Raby. FSH, Full rebuild £12600 By Hartech with all the paperwork and fully run in, Not one single advisory on all the historic MOT'S. Test drive with Phil and secured purchase. Two years on and new pump, service, and belt, STILL IN LOVE WITH MY 911 from Phil......
Always look at his site and seems he is actually sourcing Hartech rebuilds specifically, as it seems the route to take on purchasing without fear.

On a different note - I looked at the white 3.2 targa that he has - he gushes about its beautiful condition. The panel alignment and fit suggests it's had more hits than Elvis. Caveat emptor me thinks.
