Yellow 993 turbo s at Hendon Way Motors
Discussion
The car is over fourteen years old, no-one could expect a car of tis age not to have had a little bodywork. Its not anything abnormal.
And it was nothing big, just touch up.
Its virtually impossible to spray parts of cars and there not to be a bit over overblow, and dust in the paint.
Its okay for there to be a few blemishes, the car is mechanically sound, and thats the main part of it all.
Cars are to be enjoyed, not to be parked up in a garage, life's too short not to get out there, whatever the weather and use them, and Porsche make cars that a made to be used. If they're not, things like the discs get covered in rust, and then its news discs, pads and calipers just to get them roadworthy again.
take the seats for instance, a bit of wear is normal. It would be abnormal for them not to show wear after fourteen odd years.
Service history, well its not that important, everyone misplaces it, or parts of it. Its difficult to keep all this stuff together in busy households we have to day. Its not unusual for there to be the odd gap. As long as the last bills add up to the milage, and there's an MOT its fine.
The MOT is the thing. Thats the department of transport seal of approval that the car is safe to use on the road. This system is 100% supported by every car manufacturer, especially porsche, who now own Bugatti, Audi, Volkswagen SEAT, and you can see by that investment that if they say it, its got to be true.
It would be unusual for a 14 year old car not to show signs of wear.
Hendon Way Motors have been trading for years. Its a family business that has been going for three generations. They have a prestigious showroom, and a lot of stock, in itself worth hundreds of thousands of pounds. There a solid company, that stand behind their reputation. And of course buying from them, and not a private person, you'll always have someone to take the car back to you.
They do warranties as well, so for a little more outlay you'll have peace of mind knowing that if anything does go wrong with the car, you'll be covered, and have a warrant to show against any work needed doing.
It all adds up in the end.

Wow! I have bought £1000.00 sheds from dealers who didn't attempt that type of bullst when selling me the car.The MOT is the thing. If you are associated with HWM then I am beginning to understand why the downer on the company.
There are at least two speed yellow 993 turbo S that have been on and off on sale on PHead in the last year and a half.
Indeed one of them has been smashed up and repaired...barely.
The last good one in speed yellow was actually sold by mr911 to a Swiss collector and the car is around Geneva. If you are interested, I guess you could contact him, I'm sure he knows whether or not it is for sale or not.

Its not that car - this one has def been on and off for sale for well over a year. What surprises is me that you'd think the car was fine as OPC Byfleet had the same car for sale 6 months agoIndeed one of them has been smashed up and repaired...barely.

There used to be a Yellow 993 Turbo S that lived outside a blokes house near my mate in Eccles. Probably about the time when these cars were new! The cost of that car could have paid for about 4 of the houses at the time.
I always wondered what had happened to it, may be its the car in question?

If it's the Byfleet one, I have seen it as I service my car there. It was in their showroom at the time and the service team stated the car was serviced regularly but hardly used.I advise you contact them for more information if your really want this car, looks like the owner really wants to offload it.

.. the Jury disagrees, you nearly had me going there for a minute, but luckily for me I have 1st hand experience of the way they do business, which I will NEVER repeat. And it was nothing big, just touch up.
