If only I could do it more. Should blow the cobwebs away before Le Mans in June.

I live Essex so a bit of a trek to collect but looking forward to the drive home. Black wheels were a must for me and would have had them painted if they weren't, personal preference though. Think I paid top dollar for it at £40,500 but don't care after missing a few and it's the spec I wanted plus got them to carry out the 2 year service which wasnt due till end May in with price and as OPC comes with 2 years peace of mind. 1st March Friday so hopefully sun is in its way and can't see any bargains to be had now before next winter!
You have exactly the same spec as my car, apart from you have black wheels, PSM and mine has cup holders. I bought mine privately last month with 3300 miles on the clock on a 2010(10) plate. The car was serviced by the previous owner and I then added in the extended two year warranty which starts in June.

Congrats on your purchase and enjoy the drive back from Leicester.

Popped into Porsche Edinburgh today as needing some new seals onthe 964. Chatting to Graeme about our new Spyder and he mentioned they have a Guards Red Spyder coming in today as a trade in. Think he said it was a 2011 with approx 1450 (yep 1450) miles, manual, PSports Exhaust, Sports Chrono, Red dials, Short Shift, Air con and a couple of other goodies.

Thought I would mention it on here before it hits the OPC website.

Cheers
George

I've bought a couple of cars from Graeme, and refered a couple of others to him. Top bloke.

Red Spyder was seemingly sold at lunchtime. Anyone on this thread?

I nearly went to have a look at that yesterday. I work in Gerrards Cross, so it's 10 minutes down the road for me.

Where are you based?

Does this mean that I'm no longer the only Guards red Spyder on the block (list)? (rhetorical question!)

I also have a Red Spyder purchased on 4th March with only 1500 miles on it ,bought from Porsche Edinburgh . Weather has been poor so have not really put any miles on it waiting for all this salt to be washed away and gritters put away for the winter .

So up north and down south then. Living and working in the Midlands, I'm not likely to see either of you. phew! Imagine people would start to think they're as common as white PBSs!

I'm sure you know this but use them at every opportunity because this being the UK there will be many, MANY days when the weathers means it's not not really worth it.

Good luck with the sale. I see you have the car on Pistonheads.

If you want to get top dollar for the vehicle, I would suggest lots of pretty pictures of the car and a really thorough description

When I sold my Vx220Turbo back in January, I spent about two hours fine tuning the advert and the same time taking pictures. Et voila, within two days I got just under the asking price and fully paid.

Are you replcaing the Spyder with anything?

I think what you very politely trying to say is that the advert is not good enough to sell a near 40k car. It needs lots of detailed quality photos taken at a better location. Also mentioning PDK or manual gearbox in ad might help. The more detailed description of the cars condition etc the better. Not being harsh just trying to help you sell the car.
