White ones are 0.5 seconds faster around any given circuit (1 second round the ring because it is so long). Well known fact that!

White is a mixture of all colours (well, all lights anyway), black is an absence of all colour or light.

If it was a white one I'd be rubbing my hands with relief at having got shot before the trend in white cars changed wink

Yes, I am missing mine. The more I look around the less I can see which compares for the price. Totally lacking inspiration.

Will be interested to see what you end up with. Not sure what I'd replace mine with, having had it from new I am spoiled. Roof still annoys and I can't fit both my kids in it. Can't afford a 996 GT3RS or a nice 997 GT3 and they are 2 seaters too... Spyders are bloody good to drive though.

61kg yikes You can have whatever spec you like! How tall are you? Are you actually a girl?
Lol! About 175cm. Let's just say it has been helping me at the go-kart track since I lost the beer belly :-)

Guess I'd better order a barge then...

Why wait for the good weather? I was out in mine yesterday and Saturday - brilliant laugh sliding it around at 5mph!

Roof off in the snow, especially at night, is a fantastic experience.
And it seems to give other road users a laugh.

Another new owner here too. Due to pick the car up on Thursday, all being well. It's one the quicker white ones smile with manual 'box, PSE, sports shift etc. Having had a Caterham R400 Duratec, Elise R and 997 over recent years, I'm hoping the Boxster Spyder sits between all of those.

Seems like quite a few Spyders have sold recently - three have gone from the OPC locator, the silver private car has sold, hopefully the OP has got his and I presume yours is the one from the Edinburgh VW dealer Chris?

Very strange, given the weather!

No, mine wasn't the Edinburgh VW car although I see that has sold. I got mine direct from OPC without it being advertised, just lucky timing of me going in to the dealership as the car was coming in.

I think this car was on a PCP and he had to agree to purchase it or hand it back. It may be that he has sold it or it could end up in the dealer network in about 6 weeks.
