Anyone looking for a Black Spyder high spec with 10k miles? Pm me.
Good luck with the sale. I see you have the car on Pistonheads. If you want to get top dollar for the vehicle, I would suggest lots of pretty pictures of the car and a really thorough description
When I sold my Vx220Turbo back in January, I spent about two hours fine tuning the advert and the same time taking pictures. Et voila, within two days I got just under the asking price and fully paid.
Are you replcaing the Spyder with anything?
Sorry to bump the thread. Most of these cars seem around the 38-42k mark but mileage varies. what do you think is a realistic price for a lower mileage basic spec example?
I would presume if you were to trade in, you wouldn't get much above £30k from a dealer. What sort of margins do they usually work off on a car such as this?

A trade in most likely would be mid to high 30s depends on the dealer!I would presume if you were to trade in, you wouldn't get much above £30k from a dealer. What sort of margins do they usually work off on a car such as this?
A realistic price for low mileage basic spec ie buckets and spyder wheels would be anything between £40-45k if not more for a late low mileage car!even higher mileage cars have sold for £45k in opc all depends on spec.seems to be strong demand for the right cars

Thanks for the response. Not too concerned whether to buy via OPC or not. I guess the major card they play is the warranty which doesn't really concern me to be fair. If you were to buy privately or from an indy, they usually give some sort of warranty and are a touch cheaper but its about finding the right colour etc.A realistic price for low mileage basic spec ie buckets and spyder wheels would be anything between £40-45k if not more for a late low mileage car!even higher mileage cars have sold for £45k in opc all depends on spec.seems to be strong demand for the right cars
I guess I shall just keep my eyes and ears open. If anyone knows of someone looking to off load, feel free to PM me with spec etc.
PASM, heated seats listed !! bad advert and from a Porsche dealer !!!
Clutch pedal missing, no leather, buckets seats had a 25 stone person in them.
PDK cars are not selling well, 2 have been for sale ages wrong box for the car now so imo if you want PDK it has to be much much cheaper than £43k

Having had first hand, real ownership of both cars, the Spyders lack of mid range torque puts it at a distinct disadvantage.
You have a strange fixation with other people's purchases!
There's a few of us going to Brooklands tomorrow morning - meeting at Leicester Forest services.
Why don't you pop along and we'll see how they compare....
Oh, it's an International Lotus Day, so I'm afraid you'll have to park your mid-life crisis in the general public carpark ;-)

just got to learn how to drive it, ie up the revs not use the SC lazy torque the V6 now has.You have a strange fixation with other people's purchases!

If brooklands were some where nice then I would have come along, but a trip inside the wrong side of the M25 is not that exciting :-(
but we should get a EVO triangle group together this summer.
