Mine is coming with one after AFN spoke to the factory.

Off to the launch tonight to see it in the Flesh...

I'm sure Nick can find another space if you call him tomorrow afternoon when leaving the garage. Have a good day.

Just think 190mph down the autobahn.

Guys, and Benno particularly,

Are you sure you can get the sports exhaust on a November build?

I've got a November build "S" and Porsche GB's computer threw out my order code for the Sports Exhaust - I'm being told "possibly January build" - "but maybe a lot later" - so I'm going for the November build car and then add the exhaust at a later date (8 hours labour estimated!)

Must admit I'd love to get it on the car from the outset.

Also specced mine with 19" Sport design wheels (the new ones) - anyone else gone for these??

Kept PASM on mine instead of the NCO of the -20mm susp - last time I specced that (on a 996 facelift) the thing was nearly undriveable on the back roads I frequent.

RED or Metallic Black is the biggie?????

trying to keep mine sensible and sporty so only gone for sports seats, CD, Sport Chrono Plus pack, and the exhaust - first time I've ordered a 911 and the options havent been into five figures!

The only option I wanted on my S was the sports exhaust which apparently I can't have on my Nov build car.

Does anyone know how much it might cost to have it fitted retrospectively and would a specialist be able to do the job at a lesser cost?

AFN have assured me they spoke to the factory as they wernt sure and it was confirmed. If it turns out not then I will ask them to retrofit it at no additional cost.

I went for the minus 20 as aestitically with 911's the lower the better. Also the LSD will make it a fun track car. I added the manual sports seats as the electic ones seemed very expensive.

I went metallic black, but Silver looked superb at the launch earlier this week. It was commented though that black is the colour for the shape, but time will tell.

Its well worth ordering the sat nav module and the phone module if you can stretch as these are pretty cost effective and you will get back when you sell.

I saw a black and a silver side by side yesterday. The black hides the lines too much whereas the silver showed off the traditional coke-bottle shape a lot better.
