997 in the Flesh

Went to the AFN launch last night and saw the 997.

Any concerns I had about the shape from photographs dissapear immediately upon viewing in the flesh.

The interior is a vast jump forwards in terms of quality and it looks superb.

The nicest bits seem to be the S wheels, the rear spoiler (so much better than before) and the new headlights. In addition the car just looks much more modern and more beefy with the integral side skirts.

Its got paint protection film on the rear wings such is the bulge of the arches. It actually does look like a halfway house between a 996 and a 993 but more modern than both.

Get to drive the S on Saturday morning, cant wait.
