Engine serial number location 964 C2

Can anybody help with where to find the exact 8 digit engine serial number location on Porsche Carrera 964?
Reference says its nexto the fan housing on crankcase- all i see is m64/01 on top of crankcase.

Found it eventually at 2am this morning after chatting to a friend . Te 8 digit number is on the fan housing(right hand side vertical strip)the engine type m64/01 is directly below it on crankcase housing(horizontal position)
