I noticed today that Porsche are to offer a telequipment option upgrade for the Cayenne Turbo.
This is available for 2005 models and increases power by 50 bhp to 500bhp....hopefully this bodes well for the eagerly anticipated 997TT.

Whilst talking about the KN; has anyone seen the articles floating around in various mags of Porsche organising for journos to blast up and down Pikes Peak in the USA? Wouldn't fancy it myself!

Exactly Rich...450 standard equalling current X50 option and Turbo S....but they get get another £8k out of buyers who need the extra 50 bhp....usual cunning marketing plan

surely 500 is more likely as standard, seems to be the figure for all the likely competitors...

I think 450 will be tops and the factory upgrade will allow you to get nearer 500hp. It's the way Porsche makes it's money - extras.

The guy in Evo was cacking himself when he drove up the mountain, and justifiably I'd say...

I agree Paul, look at the standard 997 Carrera 5 bhp more than a 996 C2, on that basis we will be lucky to get 450bhp without paying extra!!! BUT it should be 500 horses as standard!!!
