The last time I heard OPCs were still only receiving an average of 4 to 5 cars in total from a single run of 140 UK cars snd that's it. There are no 2015 UK cars.
When did 250 cars per what was widely stated at Goodwood become 140....?There were only ever going to be 140 cars initially on the first run as referred to on this thread several months back...... production has been 'interrupted' to a degree by the diversion of production in favour of more lucrative markets and latterly with the engine issues but also referred to on other GT3 threads Septembers Euro 6 is looming and may well have an influence.....this is also backed up to some extent by talking to DPs and a CP who are all only expecting 4 to 5 cars in total.

Thing is.....he actually did a while back......
Just some updated info that I found out from Porsche today. I'm hoping you guys can get the same info in the UK.
I just got off the phone with PCNA. I called the 800-PORSCHE. Pushed the prompts for concierge and then spoke to a nice girl named Jenny.
She told me my car is definitely 2015 production. She gave me a case number and the person handling my case. (So I got that going for me. Which is nice. hahaha)
I asked her to let my Sales Rep. know this since he said PAG was not giving this info out. I asked her when I could expect to re-enter my build specifics for 2015
and she could not answer that at this time as PAG is trying to get the engine swap issue settled first.
My original build date was to exit production April 11 and delivery May 9. All those dates went blank last week and was replaced with a V170 code. PAG Handling Necessary.
Now I have new color to think about. In any case my car will be here later than expected but it will be MY2015.
PAG has a list of all cars that will be moved to MY2015. My dealer rep was no help at all. He denied there was a list, which I figured was a load of commie bull.
Hopefully PAG will give us a better date for production of 2015s soon.

How are you finding the MP4 Ash I can only assume it's a great car??
One week in and wow.I am a shrinking violet and hate all the attention I am getting, well the car anyway
Thumbs up everywhere, people stopping to let me out at junctions, cars diving out of the way to let me past, people driving behind me with cameras etc.
Loving every second, and add to that the sheer driveability, and then hit the loud button, set to manual, flipping eck, this is by far the best I have ever owned or been in, and I have been in some nice kit.
McLaren, British design and British made.
Someone said to me yesterday that its the thinking mans supercar, well, I do not profess to be a thinking man, but thanks for the compliment
I am sure the GT3 is superb, but compared to this, sorry guys, no brainer, it is the ultimate supercar and for the price, why wouldn't you.
No offence anyone, I genuinely wanted the GT3 but was not prepared to wait, and nothing against Porsche.
A company run by human beings, guess what, we all make mistakes, give them some slack, they make superb machines, forget the damned politics and the whingeing about compensation. Heads will roll I'm sure, that's a person that will be losing a living.
Now, Le Mans, here we come, cant wait to see the 919, beautiful looking machine, that is what Porsche is about!

I would not quite call it hens teeth.....140 is still fair amount....Also some of the 140 cars have tripped into 15My build, they are not new cars over and above this 140, I seem to recall it was 132, including the PEC and press cars...

Was the 4.0 RS not c.136 cars? Who knows what the demand for the 991 GT3 is against that but with similar UK production numbers and the 4.0 RS achieving >£200k, surely that makes things look very good for owners.
Not a chance, 600 4.0 RS worldwide probably means <75 UK cars. How many 7.2 GT3s (non RS) were there in total in the UK does anyone know?
Magic919 said:
More like 29. Then some were exported.
Wow, I had thought perhaps 50. 29 is very low indeed. That's 5% of the worldwide allocation which is very low surely? That being said the UK price of the 4.0 RS was a decent bit lower than the Europe pricing so no sense for PAG to supply anymore UK cars than the bare minimum they could.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
