Giving serious consideration to chopping in my 964 for a ferrari 308QV
Not quite sure what sort of advice to expect from this forum!! But does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with this iconic fezza?
Chris,
May I suggest for a more balanced view you also post this on the Ferrari section.
Steve

Wow ! I've seen a few 100k-ers but that must be some kind of a record !
Here is the only picture of that car I know of that was taken by a mate. Too bad he did not shoot the odometer as well. It certainly looked like a very well-maintained car, if not in as new conditions.

Jeez - this got a few more replies than i expected!! Only just noticed...
Anyway, I do feel like a change so I've decided to test-drive a 308QV as soon as I can (got my eye on one in particular), so I'll go from there. I'll post questions re servicing costs on the ferrari site...
Thanks especially to turbobloke & nevpugh - I've had a look at your web site before btw. I'll check 2nd gear from cold on any I drive!
Shame I can't afford both really!!

Yes I can afford the 328 (just) but the way I see it (and I may be wrong):
308 better looks with that front spoiler, nicer interior (no fiat switches), and the 84-> cars are galvanised. £25-30k for a good one
328 marginally more performance, only slightly less costly to maintain than a late 308QV. £35-40k for equivalent condition.
Just can't see how to justify the price difference!
(should this be on the ferrari forum!?)

1989 FERRARI 328 GTS2 Doors, Manual, Petrol, 16,000 miles, Rosso Corsa. Full Leather, Power-Assisted Steering, ABS, Alloy wheels, Central locking, Electric windows, Full service history. This Car Was In Storage For 8 Years Hence The Low Miles, Stunning Collectable Model, Outstanding Condition, Phone 07768-488607 Anytime £29,990.
FERRARI 308 GTS QV (83)
Red/Crema, 49,700 miles, 6 owners, private number £26995.
Just a couple of the cheaper cars advertised on Auto trader, I don't think that the price difference is as big as you think & the 328 is better built/more reliable for regular use..............
