VERY Pretty, no doubt.

Widens the audience, fashionistas as well as those of us who appreciate the balance and feedback.

Not exactly a wild colour choice but in 1999 not many cars came out the showroom in white

This is the only UK Biarritz White 996 GT3 Mk1 Clubsport

Car being driven hard at Oulton by Sean Edwards

And in road trim

Really not sure these bright/striking colours suit the Boxster, think they look much better on tin top cars.

This is my favourite example so far!

Aparantly it belongs to the factory Exclusive Department to show what can be done by them. It is Riviera Blue with Riviera seat inlays, black mirrors, black bonnet (obviously!), black spoiler, black side air intakes, black wheels with Riviera Blue rims.. To get this kind of example though you will need to write them a blank cheque!!!

Give the chassis number to the local OPC and they will be able to give the colour name providing it left the factory in that colour.

My favourite colours are ruby stone, Porsche green (viper) and maritime blue.

BUT! It depends on the car. It's not an exact science and highly subjective but I know what I like!

I think the 991 looks great in bright colours but the 981 looks naff. I can't explain why though!
I have a green RS.1, but interestingly, that colour is not actually Viper Green which was never standard on the RS.

There was a PTS 4.0 in officially Viper Green..see below for comparison

My car in the normal green for the RS.1]

a 4.0 in true Viper Green

I think I prefer the "Porsche Green" as per your RS.1!! If the other colour is actually Viper Green i think it looks a little more vintage!

Is yours the one parked everyday at a train station near tunbridge wells?
No, sold it to buy a 997 RS.1 in 2007.

That GT3 looks a bit naff in that photo, I had a chance to have a good look around this car on Sunday at simply Porsche and it looks sensational in person.

Sold to a friend of mine. The most sensational car I have ever had the good fortune to drive. Simply amazing.
