Revolution Porsche at Brighouse.......
Discussion
Never had an issue with Revolution, they are honest, reliable & trustworthy, I have no connection to them other than the faultless work they carried out for me.
Their continual good feedback is testimony to their service, so please......
List your issues, dates you & your friends attended and I'm sure we will discover the other side of the story!!! Or at least an explanation for your experience.
I'm not disputing your claims, just find it very hard to believe
In comparison.......
I took my car to an OPC for there 'check' before warranty renewal, nothing found, car was perfect....
ONE MONTH later and hardly any increase in mileage, car went in for a service at same OPC, several items replaced under warranty, leaking rad, MAF, etc
Go Figure

I thought these forums were impartial, How is anyone supposed to offer their opinion if any bad feedback gets deleted and only good feedback remains?... hmmmm....
Dan - why not tell the truth, tell us whether your own car went to Revolution or whether your post was actually fabricated?Edited by DarkAvenger on Saturday 29th November 13:04

Dan why dont you scan your invoice up to add some credibility to your claims, you can edit out your car details and your address but leave the date and job number on it???
Thing is Jim, this story is based on a couple of examples of cars sold by his place and then brought to Revolution Porsche for us to rectify. He may well have a copy of an advisory/estimate from one of his disgruntled customers after they had their cars in. A prime example was a 996 that had the rear brake pipe that goes over the gearbox, re-routed across the brace bar of the car, because whoever had to replace it prior to sale, didn't want to (or didn't know how) to fit it correctly. Therefore, had it running in a place where it was at risk of being caught up if the car was grounded. This car had been sold with all the promises of a pre sales service/inspection etc. That customer had issues from day one and ended up bringing the car in for an inspection as he didn't trust them - unfortunately there were a whole host of things that were found and he was welcomed into the workshop to view them. Safe to say, the customer didn't want the car to go back there after seeing that, so chose to have the work corrected by Revolution and to claim back from that place.Edited by DarkAvenger on Sunday 30th November 09:13

That's why I suggested the date and job number was left on to give you the opportunity to see what the issues were with the car and respond.
Yeah and his name (or at least first name if he hasn't yet removed it from his profile) There are invoices, he may well have copies from the claim the genuine customers put in against them. It's embarrassing for his company.. I wish the origial post had been left up. I have a copy anyway and all the other info I need.

I'd rate Revolution as one of the best independent Porsche specialists in the country. They worked on my 2004 986 Anniversary earlier this year: suspension bushes, exhaust back box and cruise retrofit.
Chris.
Thank you Chris, I guess I've no need to worry too much about bogus feedback when Revolution have such a great customer base across the forums. It's just a sad state of affairs when local 'Specialists' have to resort to such underhand tacticts. We work hard to provide an honest approach, it's an ethic some others seem to have missing so we are bound to upset these people on our path.Chris.

I think due to the policy of no negatives about suppliers.
Posts asking for recommendations are a waste of time as there is no balance.
Better to track down local owners and get real life info and make your own choice
All the POs need to do is ask 'have you used them?' and 'would you use them again?'. No need to name and shame, but trends would emerge.Posts asking for recommendations are a waste of time as there is no balance.
