Essentials so far then :
Leather - yes
Lift - yes
What about Sport Chrono - surely another yes on this particular car regardless of it's practical use or value ??
For most people Sports Chrono hardly ever gets used. Even on a track day its actually a lot of flaf. The latest version has updated software that sends your lap times to a phone although I assume someone has to tell the Chrono that you have just completed the lap. Thing is it makes the otherwise fairly bare central part of the dash look a lot more interesting. Leather - yes
Lift - yes

I guess there are two ways to go on a GT3RS have no extras at all and try and make the car a sort of clubsport so its as light as possible or accept the car is primarily a road car but can go on the track on occasions and be really enjoyed. As its not a racing car the road car tag is really where I would be focused. So
Leather - yes
Lift - yes
Sport Chrono - yes
How about LED front lights ? Might as well while we are spending? With the smoked look or clear?

With the Violet I think the clear looks better, together with clear tail lights, probably black with all the other, ie 3 colours ?? Has anyone with a previous RS or GT 3 actual info on living with the Lithium Battery, how long do they last etc ? And why not fit an aftermarket lightweight battery for less than quarter the price ? Retain the Porsche standard battery for those times it's needed.
I know an RS owner who's used one from 2010 I think. No real issues apparently and he's just used a standard CTEK conditioner on it. He's never mentioned noticing the weight difference either though, and he's a decent driver on the track, although has probably never compared against the standard battery to be honest.
How much do they charge you for the European Navigation, surely it will not be cost effective and you know your way blindfold to the Ring !
I'm wondering re the full sports buckets ( the 918 ones ) and cannot work out why not to get the adjustable buckets. They look very alike and there is not a huge weight premium with the bonus that the backrest adjusts for those long journeys' to ..........the Ring .

The Euro nav is about $290 but will do about 4000km I expect. Thanks for the help on the Austrian part, after that will be going back to Stuttgart to get some wrap on the front, then to Hamburg, Berlin and finally Ring, with a few people to meet here and there.I'm wondering re the full sports buckets ( the 918 ones ) and cannot work out why not to get the adjustable buckets. for sure the 918 bucket are non adjustable for rake.

I wondered about the painted car key but was advised it's very easily scratched - wonder if you could put a protective film on it ??
Here is my key after 5,000 miles and 9 months of use:Entirely frivolous and pointless, but a nice touch as far as I'm concerned! Obviously just need to be a bit careful carrying the key around with other keys / coins etc.
