The press days are May 19-22, so we should see the articles shortly. If they are really good, ( and I am anticipating nothing until I see them) then the interest is going to skyrocket.

Probably the most track focused RS?

Anyone got any news about delivery dates - I've been told November. Also OPC said PTS is on the cards -anyone else heard this ? smile
I'm not getting far on firm details on PTS unlike RS buyers in States who seem to get much more information from PCNA than we receive from Porsche UK.

Any UK RS buyers got a firm commitment on PTS yet?

1460 kg and that's without the roll cage? As a press car one has to assume the lightweight battery was selected but I guess it would be without aircon/stereo delete.

I spec'd my RS on Wednesday and am told zero chance of PTS on this car - apparently with the magnesium roof, they would need to test the application of each PTS colour on this metal and that would take a year.

Also looks like the 918 buckets are causing an issue, which will result in a delay. I'm an October build but right now delivery this year is looking unlikely.

Not sure if this has been picked up on yet but it appears the "new" GT3 engine will get some race credibility with the GT3R

Porsche exclusive Germany still cannot confirm PTS and yes its the mag roof that is a problem. However I wouldn`t be surprised if the USA end up getting PTS somehow as happened with the 997.2 GT3RS 4.0 My car is a September build, October delivery. By the time we all have to spec them we will know about the paint issue. The problem will be if we have to have one of the four colours.
Lava Orange - look at me!
GT Silver - Better on a turbo?
Ultraviolet - Blimey!
White - Boring but probably the best of this lot for me?
Guess its about the driving not worrying about looking like a satsuma.

I'm surprised at how good it looks in white. Shows off the accents very well. I spec'd Orange - it should be as wild as possible in my mind. It's a real shame PTS looks unavailable as it's the one car you want to stick out. I think Porsche have been pretty good about NCO like body coloured cage - that's cool. My spec came to £151k - no point in holding back with a car like this.

White is looking better by the day, as is silver. Porsche classics colours are chosen by Porsche for good reason. As launch colour, Lava will prevail though.

Stinking value at circa £150k

After going to see it in Geneva I was sold on Orange, now I have seen it in White I am going to switch. A very close call but it just looks sooooo good and a little less 'shouty' in White. As a long term keeper I think White will be the final choice for me, unless of course we get PTS very soon then it's Carmine Red.
