Do we know what colour these wheels are? I think they are satin black but could they be the standard platinum?
I think they're plat. not black . Heavily rendered image so very misleading , whatever they are . However , more importantly , I plan to put the decal on mine to ensure that my inner chav is taken care of ! smile

I did notice the orange 12 o clock marker and I really hate to say it , but I choose yellow as it matches the dials !

Stop a minute.
There is the standard wheels which are Platinum (dark grey)
There are option 1 which are Black Satin that's not gloss and not matt so they have a sheen but not as reflective as gloss.
Then there is option 2 silver obviously not that.

In the picture there is some reflection from the wheel but is this Platinum or Satin Black. That is the question.

Probably the right decision to keep the yellow guess its one of those you can`t tell until its done and delivered.

Yes have already ordered the decals to be fitted by the dealer.(just in case Porsche run out after so many people see the picture with then on) They are from the 997.1 GT3RS and as you can see extend on to the front and rear spoilers as well, takes away the plainness of the white doesn`t look over the top in my limited opinion.

I think platinum , however the picture is so heavily rendered that they look darker than reality smile

After considerable deliberation we are of the opinion that the wheels are not platinum as despite the shadowing they just aren't light enough to be this colour. We conclude therefor that they are satin black. (Probably totally wrong though) So I am keeping my order as satin black wheels.

I'm fairly convinced those ARE Platinum wheels.

You could well be right but when you look at platinum wheels on the Porsche site they definitely look a lot lighter than in the picture. Meanwhile the new satin black is not as black as say the old basalt black of the 997 era wheels.
Still its all guess work.

I'm basing my judgement on how dark the Platinum wheels of my GT3 look...!

Lava orange looks so much more vibrant in the bottom picture. And that rear wing is insane!

Enjoy!
