Think they are much lighter (10kg +) than the standard buckets

Why do we want the 918 buckets seats unless we need the height adjustment? Can anyone suggest a good reason unless they are 5ft 4". I am happy to go with either but I can`t see why the 918 seats have any advantage. The folding seats are amazing, very comfortable loved my 4 years with them in the GT2RS. Fantastic on the road and superb on the track. Do the 918 seats have air bags or do we end up with none or some sort of additional enclosures on the doors. What about the exposed carbon fibre around the neck area in an accident is it possible for us to make contact with it. Any thoughts much appreciated I am not locked in to a final spec yet but will be soon.

Going by my experience in the 918 compared to the buckets in my GT3, the 918 seat feels like it grips you more, especially around the shoulders. It feels more upright and puts you in more of a racing huddle as you grip the wheel. I'm not sure how much of this is the seat and how much is a different driving position between the 911 and the 918 though.

Congratulations! Would you be kind enough to post your impressions of the car as you put miles on it? Plus did you own a 991 GT3 before taking delivery and how does it compare? More photos of the RS would be appreciated as well. smile

If you previously ran a 7.2 GT3 or a 7.2 RS comparisons on those cars against the new RS
would be fab too.

Like that a lot. Black wheels set it off nicely against the white.

PS. Looking forward to the release of your next album. rotate

I can confirm it looks great, sounds fantastic, and not that easy to keep up with in my 968 !!

I bet the 968 cs is worth a fortune, if dealers are asking £17k for 924's

Cheers, It has aged well I think and really is a pretty good back to basics drive - if you like that sort of thing.
