Interesting with the 4.0 bs article,i had a porsche with 120bhp per litre that was made 50 years ago,come on a long way have we not.
I am sure there will be more gt3 as they normally do,and a rs and a gt2,and other special editions.

One thing that occurred to me ( and I have no Deep Throat inside Zuffenhausen spy on this), was a curiosity that all of the turbo-like bodywork on the mules was there as a precursor to the option of turbocharging a Gen.2 RS?....

I am definite its n/a for the first release of the 991RS, but have zero on anything beyond that. Is it possible that they are not sure themselves?. Pure speculation on my part, of course.

Hi guys

i'm from Italy and i have a RS on order(1st at my dealer).

My dealer confirmed me in february of this year that the car will be 4.0L,500 HP with 21" wheels on the rear and 20" on the front,lighter roof and hood,and PDK.
And he told me launch in June,deliveries from september.

all was ok.

But then the problems on the Gt3 engine make all goes bad,no launch in June and no deliveries from september.

Two months ago i saw the pics of the orange RS scale model(that finally comes out two weeks ago),but now i can't wait again!! i whant to see the car!i whant to see in which colours will be available!i whant to drive it,i'm driving crazy!!

Apolo,i read that you see it in white with stripes on hood and roof(central, where there is the lowered part).

Can you tell us more?
someone have some info on the release date,is really all postponed to 2015?i can't wait again so much!

someone find some infooo!!i try to ask here in Italy,but they know nothing,i sent some mails at PAG and nothing,noone talks.Is like a mistery.

I do know a bit more than the above, but it is not appropriate to post. Know what you mean about the" like a mystery" the best I get is the" other car"

Don't blame em, get the GT3s done 1st.

Its going to have a carbon roof and hood,18 inch wheels for reliable tyre supply,600bhp,and no pdk.
Proper lightweight construction of body and interior,and no extra frills.proper downforce with flat floor and diffuser,then we might get near some of the competition for homologated racers.

yes, the roof and of the hood seems is lowered in the central part like on the 997 sportclassic

the lines of which appear to run as a continuation of the bonnet

redolent/akin to the Sport Classic

My understanding is that the roof is magnesium, fair bit of CF in the front,retains the 4WS,still working to legalize the 918 type seats for the US market due to US DOT regulations that have made the earlier 997RS seats illegal,918 type wheels, no manual, no turbo.
