what the actual f@ck !! why would you even move a +£250k car into standing water no matter now shallow. most people who buy these don't even take them out in winter let alone park them in puddles and standing water.... what a prize bell

I can't get my head around that, is it their car park that is flooded, or just a feature they now use, because surely it hasn't been flooded the entire time they've taken pictures of all 46 cars in their fleet?!?! Does a customer have to take welly boots to view a car?

Its quite clearly their lake/pond where they have put a structure/underwater bridge in it to take fancy pictures of their cars to make them look like they are walking on water, call it art if you like. I'm sure they are driven on there very slowly so at worse the bottom of the arches get a little splashed.

Cant see the problem really, you guys need to get out in your cars more often.....or are they all garage queens!

If ever you were to visit Aston Martin at Gaydon they have a yellow Vantage parked on a pond. Maybe Mr.Hartley is just copying their idea. Hardly original thinking and a crap marketing idea. Just my opinion of course.

992?

The next 'mainstream' Carrera model after the 991.2 will be out at around the same time as the 991.2 RS......just like the 991.2 Carrera is out now the same time as the 991 RS.

Opinion please. My RS has now been PDID and detailed. All looking great. Question. I specced the car with a passenger harness set, should I request both sets are fitted? Or do I leave both sets in their boxes. The service manager has instilled a bit of doubt in my mind.

Ok Rob - this is very simple - OPC's don't like fitting them as to do it properly takes ages as both seats need taking out of the car - also to do it neatly is a pain (if you PM me I'll send you some images of how it should be done - too big to attach here) . As such , they will try not to fit - not an issue if you don't want them attaching but if you do : simply say yes. Also they tend to charge you for doing it after the PDI , so if you do agree to potentially do it at a later date , I'd specifically agree that this is done at no cost - if they will not do this , I'd do it now . In terms of normal daily use : I chuck the over shoulder straps behind the cage and sit with the crotch strap in between my legs (some people push these back through the gap in the thigh part of the seat - I find it fine without this ) . Basically , you can then use the car very happily as a DD with them pre fitted - so I would do it now - but of course , it's up to you smile

Hope this helps,
One of the reasons they don't really want to do it is they have to take under trays off and seats out to clean out the mounting points which on mine and a friends were blocked with sealant. So make sure you get the dealership to arrange fitment., also if you have the extinguisher fitted you can't use mats.
