At last, after many many months of waiting, my RS is waiting for me to collect this weekend.
I now have a new dilemma.

Do I paintshield the car, part of, or whole?
Do I Gtechniq the car, part or whole
Do I do a combination of the above?
Do I do nothing, and just drive it, and say to hell with any stonechips or traffic grime?

What have you guys, the other owners done?

The car is light metallic blue PTS.
If you condom the whole car, nothing to detail or seal with any potions.

Sensible choice seems to be front bumper, front imoact areas, wheel arches rear wing and perhaps the top of the spoiler.

Doing nothing is an option probably not advisable on this value of car to keep the paint original.

Lovely colour Glen, wear well. My 991 RS is LO, I was in two minds whether to spec Green again ( I owned " The HulK", the only UK Green 7.2 RS, and only one of two RHD ones in the World ). .
Where's the other one ?

Mine is just Green 'not' Viper.

It's darker than the photos show, it's hard to get the true colour on picture.

It's in Australia, I corresponded with the owner. And for info there are only a total of 17 ( 15 LHD ) Porsche Green 7.2 RS in the world.

Must have realised it was cheaper to get one of these rather than the Sport Classic he really wantedhehe

I have a Maritime RS coming in July and as I intend to track it regularly, it will have a paint correction detail followed by a full, clear wrap.

Before taking delivery of my RS I used Topaz Detailing who did a fantastic job of detailing the already good paintwork. Then they covered the whole of the car including the lights and indicators with Suntek 2 protective self healing film other than high impact areas where Exel was used. I am truly delighted with the finished result and am confident that the paint protection offered is well worth the cost.

I put full protective film on my GT3 RS after a detail. The RS throws a lot of road dirt onto the paint from the louvres over the front wheels and also along the sides of the car so decided to cover the entire car. Haven't done this to any of my cars before but with the RS it felt necessary. Also the paint had a mat spot on the upper edge of the bonnet surface when it first came from the factory so that was corrected as well.

Mexico blue has finally landed.
Many thanks go to Kieran, Sam, Steve and all the team at OPC Bolton. Their level of attention, enthusiasm, knowledge and service is simply beyond reproach.

I used Topaz for a full wrap on my GT3RS - and as always they did a fantastic job! With the outlets in the front wing - the car will get pebble dashed! I'd wrap first - then drive!

Enjoy!
