these seem new...but (falsely?) recollect them being around for a while....
They have been around for a while, but my sense is that they are pretty close. I would be inclined to get the ducts all painted body colour…seems too broken up visually.

Update courtesy of SUPER Darius from Rennlist / team. A lot of us have waited long for Porsche's most special offering so hopefully it will be worth it:

  • Front hood, roof and if i remember well doors, in lightweight materials
  • 20" wheels in front
  • 21" wheels rear
  • Orange launch colour
  • Carbon rear wing
  • 25 mm wider front wheels arches
  • Turbo body
  • 520 HP
  • 470 Nm
  • 4.0 L "new engine"
  • 50% increased traction respect 997 RS 4.0
  • 192.000 Euro in Italy with VAT, around 10.000 Euro less than a Turbo S
  • Spring launch, late spring-early summer deliveries, at today, but maybe it can go better (i hope).
This is all.

Shame they're going with orange as the launch colour as it's been done before. It would be nice to raid some other back catalogue colours-peppermint? Rubystone?

I wonder if Porsche will launch the RS and GT4 as motorsport cars together ?

I am hoping for a orange GT4 but I doubt that will happen.

For all of the speculation, the car is pretty much exactly as I had heard months ago, and it will be PDK, non-turbo.

PDK, non-Turbo was surely never really in doubt?

Is there no chance of a manual option, given the latest GTS enhancements to the 7 speed?

No chance as far as I'm concerned.
