The article implies that a manual would be available, not the sole option!http://www.wheelsmag.com.au/news/1502/exclusive-po...

The very very interesting bit of info if they really offer the manual is to see what % worldwide will be specced as such and not PDK...
Quite a high percentage -more than half. Would impact 4.0RS.Courtesy of the brilliant Macca @ Rennlist:
Additional to information already received I was told overnight the 991 GT3RS will have VERY firm suspension with front springs around 20% increase and rear around 45-50% increase in order to manage additional 100kg+ rear aero. Rear 21" side wall tyres are much stiffer too and less rubber in lower control arms using Heim joints so a little more NVH. Overall the car is noticeably stiffer and harder (than the GT3) on the road I am told and has already been positioned on the chart below slightly above the GT3 and to the left of the GT4 by half a car. The car is best for nice smooth road not lumpy B roads Im told! Apparently the GT4 is riding very firm too. Just some feedback....
Also interesting to see the GT4 is positioned more raw than the GT3...

Anyone have an understanding of when cars will start and finish delivery ? Also anyone wanted to sell their old 997.2 RS - please PM me
My German dealer has estimated delivery date of June. Not sure of the end date but perhaps before the factory closes in August, unless the RS is Euro6 compliant so production can continue in September?Euro spec sheet and order guide (ex Ferrarichat...via way of Rennlist)
