The event was wet this year. The previous 4 years I've attended it was beautiful weather, if a little on the cold side. Being in March certainly didn't diminish the quality of cars that were at those events and how much everyone enjoyed them.

We live in Britain folks. The date of an event guarantees little in respect to weather. I've paid top money for an August trackday at Silverstone only to have rivers running across the track.

I think the change in organization of the event this last year had as much to do with its lack of attendance than anything else. The feel of the old events was just not there. Could have been blamed on the weather, but think it went a bet deeper than that. Either way I still had a great time.

I also used to appreciate that there was an effort to make it a charitable event in the past. I hope this continues.

I'll be there.

I strongly dissagree. Driving in the wet is a skill and equally as enjoyable as in the dry. But then it's only my opinion. I agree it s more pleasent wandering round the paddock chatting to fellow drivers in dry warm weather. SO, the 2013 day was not a washout, the weather was !!

Ya big puff! wink

Seriously though, what a shame not to take such a great driver's car on such a fantastic, rewarding circuit that's perfectly suited to your car.

Why not book a day's instruction? Learn the track and smooth techniques steadily at your own pace, with someone that know the place well and should keep you, and the car, safe. Now, I wonder who that could be? whistle

It would never be that same fella that set fire to my GT3RS s brakes and had to go out for 3 more laps to cool them down ? He's a good driver though, does a bit of video making of his race exploits too.
