Usually come along to this event as a spectator. Oulton Park website is showing event as Private Event and that usually means no access to spectators on that day. Presumably spectators are allowed on Friday, it's just private for track bookings?

There's never anyone at the entrance checking booking info etc, normally I just drive in and park up. Should be fine, I'll be going down again. Hopefully if this 'warmwave' sticks around, we might get some sunshine for once!

Massive shame no 991 GT3's will be there - was one of the main reasons I was gong this year.

Have spoken to OP today, gates open as per usual for a track day on Friday. Just need the sunshine now!

I am so pi$$ed off, I have visited this event for God knows how many years as a spectator and it has always been amazing (OK, well not as great last year) Work commitments prevented me going today, but I am still looking forward to lots of photos of what I missed.

How did you get on? Very nice lad offered me his afternoon slot as he needed to leave early. Tried to do things "the right way" and went to control to pay to be added as an extra driver. Was told bluntly "it doesn't work like that". Offered to pay admin fee or preferably charitable donation but basically got told to do one! Everyone's a loser...
