Cut-price, full postcode nav update available for PCM-3

Does anyone know if any of the OPCs are still offering this cut-price nav update for PCM 3? I tried ringing around the ones near me (West London, Brooklands) but they are quoting £350-450.

Re-re-resurrecting this thread but OPC West London want £400 to update my 991 Nav to full postcode search. Does anyone have any experience of getting it done more cheaply elsewhere recently?

Hatfield quoted £300 last October but didn't stipulate whether this included VAT.

I gave on the PCM nav and just use WAZE on my phone now. No way am I spending £300+ to update to maps that will be out of date by the time it is installed.

Fair enough and I agree it's pretty outdated, would just be nice to have the option!

Save your money and wait until December

the current update gives you postcodes, great but the maps are from 2014!!! I was so pissed off, kicked off and will be demanding a free upgrade in December

Would sir like the latest satnav update, gives you postcode search?

Why yes, yes I would.

I took it, if they explained by latest they meant maps older than the 1987 A to Z of London I'd have told em to stuff if.

Its a worthwhile feature but save your time.

Huh?! My 997 GTS has full postcode search and my previous 981 did also....how can a 991 not come with the ability to enter a full postcode?!

Update Jan 2018, local OPC charging £350 for upgrade and maps now. Want to get it done, but seems expensive!

Use Google maps via Bluetooth aux. Play your music simultaneously....

Or get a 15% discount from OPC if a member of Porsche club gb
