Loving this thread - guards red looks very smart!
Here's some pics of mine, owned it since end of December and absolutely loving it, already carried out my first mod - Carnewal GT exhaust :-)

Absolutely right, these are beautiful from every angle except the front, those fried egg headlights do nothing for me and are the reason I'll probably never own one. Other than that the 996 Turbo has represented excellent value for money over the past few years. As the prices of 993 & 964 Turbo's rocket they will naturally drag up the value of the 996 Turbo.

(Note I spell out the 'Turbo' and don't refer to 'TT's, Audi make them.;)

Hi Crimp

stage two Euro Pipes, K24 hybrid turbos, 997 turbo S ic's, GT2 6 pot front brakes, remap, new fuel lines, and a few other bits and bobs.

Drives really well and for the first time ever in my turbo I find myself backing off the loud pedal smile

I just lover your motor though, 550 bhp is still very very fast and she looks great.

Being a pedant here (and I'll put this on the 997 turbo thread having had both fine machines) but does anyone on here know what an apostrophe is for?

Yeah its lovely few bits need sorting, AC packed in which appears it needs a new suction pipe which is an engine out job, and curiously never showed up the PPI, which i'm not happy with to be honest, and the window regulator had given up the ghost managed to bag one of these from flea bay pretty cheap though, common problem by all accounts. Apart from this really love it and yes it goes very very well, so yours must be helish quick

Sorry to hear about the AC problem/engine out. Was the AC knackered when you purchased it or did it stop working shortly after purchase? On the hole I think the AC unit is fairly reliable on these but pipes do deteriorate unfortunately, just a bugger they have to take out the engine to fix it, other wise I would guess a cheap repair.

Never showed up on PPI, which says a lot about them to be honest!

I didn't really bond with it much. But no denying it was a rapid car.
