Certainly for me!

But it is a nice distraction from the 991 GT3 doom thread! (who I really do feel for!)

Thanks!

The oil leaks seem to be sorted, turned out to be overfueling and lots of starting and stopping the engine without it going for a run over the course of a week had caused the oil to become a bit fuel contaminated.

The car has just been treated to 12 Litres of Mobil-1 MotorSport 15w50, the last of my stash of this now unavailable gold, along with a new filter and seems to have returned to being leak free.

Head studs have also been checked, and all present, tight and attached.

So, the auction is still on and my conscience is clear again!

Keep the competition bid guesses coming, it's still running till the second the auction ends!

Stop bidding now, I'm only £48.99 off!

Watching with interest, looks a good project for someone with deeper pockets than I, and thanks for the writeup Jon!

4 and a half years ago my wife passed away and left my 3 sons without a mum.. Last year I found myself in the Nurburgring hospital with a what was first a nasty knee injury which eventually found me back in a UK hospital having developed into blood clots, 24 pulmonary embolisms in one lung alone with only 10% lung function, pneumonia, pleurisy, bronchitis, several heart attacks and having to have my chest cavity drained with a less than 20% expected chance of survival.
Good Lord! I knew that you were poorly but I had no idea that it was that serious!
