Porsche have posted this on their Facebook page tonight.
Thank you everyone for responding to Mr. Murray's video. We appreciate your passion and our community's drive for excellent customer service. We at Porsche have always sought excellence in all that we do. We know you expect it of us. And when we don't meet that standard, we make every effort to improve. We want you to know we’ve offered to repurchase or replace Mr. Murray’s car, and we hope we can reignite his passion for Porsche.

And Nick has responded on FB:

Message: Nicholas Murray Thanks Porsche Cars, sorry to be such a trouble maker . Your products are excellent mine was just a one off problem. I can confirm they have looked after me. Nick (Mr. Murray)

Update Video from Nick (with good humour :-): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJjxeyC2W8s&sr...

Wonder if Porsche GB can learn from this as well ?

Doesn't surprise me.

These vids have gone viral. Just saw it on a completely nine car related site. I best it's on every car one.

I've been contacted my AM but as yet none of the other brands. Happy to listen to what they have to say, getting fed up with Porsche and their bullst stringalong communications
How did they get your contact details?

Great see to Porsche has pulled it's finger out and sorted this out. Nice video by Nick especially responding to some of the social media comments. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with a TV show reviewing cars!

The power of social media is obviously the way forward with Porsche problems! smile

Well hopefully Porsche will respect the customer a little more after this! But some how I doubt it. It should never have got this far. Arrogant fu*#ers.

Well it's a great result for Nick who clearly has a very broken 991. However..... I note from his earlier videos that he has lots of self fitted "extras" fitted to his car like radar and laser jammer and front and rear car cams. While I doubt they had anything to do with the issues he has, I wonder if Porsche tried to blame the issues on these non-Porsche approved bits? I only say this because here in the UK, if you fit anything non-Porsche your warranty could be void.

Just a thought.

Porsche seems to be moving away from being a luxury niche sports car maker to being a mainstream player.

You could see it as soon as I walked into my local OPC last weekend, the focus was on selling the new Macan!

Leaves me cold to the new products!
Doubt Porsche would disagree, they want to be more mainstream and think more like a business where volume counts. They are somewhere between Lambo/Ferrari/Aston and the million plus producers Audi/BM/Merc. From my experience there customer service is not as bad as Merc or Land Rover but not exclusive and this also shows when it comes time for resale, imo.

The guy is a "natural" in front of the Camera. Articulate, a natural wit who can see the funny side with a bit of self-deprecation thrown in. Not sure what his real job is, but I bet he gets some interesting follow-up offers.

A lot could learn from him (inc some characters on PH ;-)
