Yesterday morning I received a letter from Porsche. On the outside of the envelope it states it's An Invitation to Experience Porsche.

When I opened the envelope, the letter advised me that Porsche has changed its supplier from the RAC to the AA for breakdown/recovery for my GT3 through to 2016.

Experience Porsche? Porsche Assistance? Breakdown/recovery? The AA? They must be having a laff?! Unbelievable.

There was nothing wrong with the RAC! biggrin Seriously though, PCGB staff can't even pick out the right envelope? I'm feeling less frustrated with their incompetence and more sympathetic as PCGB is clearly being charitable to those who have little to no prospects. YTS comes to mind!

Yes, I had one of those too. Looking forward to a nice trip to the PEC only to be disappointed to see that the AA had taken over Porsche Assist. I never choose the AA when I have to buy recovery. Still, I guess cheapest bidder wins.

I'm due three Porsche Experiences down at Silverstone one of which I paid £550 for when they used to do them at Milbrook. I find it hard to get enthusiastic about anything to do with Porsche nowadays. It's a company which has lost its way in my opinion.

I too received one of these. Was convinced my OPC had chucked in a free experience day.

Same here. What a disappointment when I opened the letter. What were they thinking?

What can Absolutely Awful bring to the party that Really Awful Company can not? They are equally useless. RAC's equity company also own Dunkin Donuts - says it all.
I would not trust the AA with a skateboard in light of previous experience (albeit many years ago)

I can go one better. I got two of those letters, one for my current car and one for a car I sold 4 months ago.
