Jackal,
Reading your wish list on the first post it sounds like it should be a blast. Is this still your intended route or have you changed plan/had other ideas as you've progressed?
Its great you are going to get out in this thing on road trips as well as track days once its done.
Hi F, yes the plan is the same. Essentially a near as perfect RSCS recreation as possible. I have though decided to leave the final round of works till 2016:Reading your wish list on the first post it sounds like it should be a blast. Hydraulic brakes
Bonnet interior bracketry, battery cut off, tow bar panel
CS gearbox & RS driveshafts
Front tower seam welds/strengthening brackets
When complete it will only differ to the real thing in a few areas: underseal, vin plate, solid rear bushes, PSS10.
I was strongly considering buidling the engine as an RSR but it wouldnt be that suitable for my intended use and knowing me id probably have to change everything else on the car to match to RSR spec. I basically like my originality with Porsches.

This I'll look into this further.
It's a consideration for me some point next year. All the best with the build.
Just a thought I've just had brake upgrade added to my 964. 928S4 discs and pads fooking awesome!
Yes ace, same as 968M030 if im not mistaken. I did the same jump so appreciate how big it is, enjoy. It's a consideration for me some point next year. All the best with the build.

Mr Littlejohn is to RS/Clubsport recreations what Singer are to air cooled hot rods. His knowlege and attention to detail is just amazing. The roll cage in these pictures for example is To EXCACT matter specification. He even sources the metal tubing from the same manufacturer that supplied matter with the original tubing. The painstaking level of detail that will go into his builds set them apart from anything else. In the 1990's he was sent by Reading to the Porsche factory to be specifically trained on these cars. He will add details to his build that many experts are Un aware of. He even sourced a batch of loom wrap from the same supplier of the original loom wrap so that even that detail could be correct.
Amazing
