Actually I think it is..tricked up narrow bodied cars look a bit more purposeful to me than 'fat' ones imo..and definitely drive better..also 996 rs has a lot of expensive 'bit's' on it than latter versions..as usual manafacturers cut costs over time.

hehe

All subjective though, innit.

It's clean, unfussy, purposeful and fking hard.
at 11/10s when onnit, or when one is on track, in full nutter mode, the 991GT3 is a little to Soft, imv...

This is all very interesting but which one is going to be worth more in 10 years time? the red ones or the blue ones?

I'd have both red and blue - it's only wheel colour & decals - blue on drivers side, red on passenger side.

a bit surprising, but i suppose it can't do absolutely everything perfect!! Also i don't think we'll see as many used on track as previous models (i could be wrong)

What he meant was, As more colour blind enthusiasts come onto the market, demand will rise over time.

These older cars are just going to get more sought after all the time, for the 991 anv model to be 2secs slower, and the 918 only 3 secs faster, technology has not come that far .He does admit the 918 is a lot faster over the whole lap,but corner speeds, you cant beat physics, even with nanny aids like auto boxes, rear wheel steer, traction control etc etc

in my time on track with a 2.7RS, a 99gt3, P1, 12C, 650S, 991tts, The 918 is by far the fasted thing around bends....think of it as a 92 Williams for the road, and not just my view either.....

Whilst I have a lot of respect for the 2.7rs, around a bend it just would not see what way a TTS went, and neither should it, after all we are talking what 40 years apart..
