Was a lovely day yesterday— enjoyed getting my first taste of tracking my Cayman— very glad I knew the track for that— the first damp session felt like I was holding on for dear life.

Great to meet some people too— no idea if any are on here or not

Anyone take any photos etc?

Agreed, a superb day out, bacon roll & loads of Porsches, what more do you want? smile

The drive back up was good when we hit the A3, the Ferrari FF sounded awesome when it joined the GT2 convoy smile

Official photographs are here - thanks again to John Rampton.

As I was doing 'admin' I didn't take my usual reams of photos, but I'll post up a few when I get a chance.

Once the money raised is totalled-up, I'll post that up here as well.

......and before anyone says 'why is there a single BMW in the line-up', we had three very late cancellations, each of which donated their full-entry-fee to the charity (so huge respect to those people), and VERY kindly a friend of one of the other driver's brought his modified BMW along and paid FULL entry-fee, all of which can go directly to the Children's Hospice.

bow

Thanks to all of you who gave, large or small amounts.

clap

The 'profit' from the track-day is still coming-in (due to the last-minute changes above), the raffle money was estimated by CTH at 'over 500 GBP'.

On top of that we have the 'Paddock' donations, and donations from people who couldn't make it this year but still wanted to support the Hospice - this sub-total is currently 1580 GBP plus 370 Gift-Aid.

It's not too late to give a tax-back Porsche-flavoured donation to the Hospice - via JustGiving.

Really enjoyable morning out - thanks Jonathan for organising. Just a shame I couldn't stay for the parade and the afternoon session. First trackday at Goodwood (and pretty wet in the morning too!) Some quality Pork on display. Thanks also to George for the passenger lap.

Apologies for the delay, but we have a final total raised directly to the Hospice, and done through JustGiving so that it is easy to claim your tax back on your donation.

The total you raised was 4,520.01 plus 940 Gift-Aid (reclaimed tax) which equals
£5,460

https://www.justgiving.com/Club-Carrera2014

This is an amazing total, given that July turned out not to be the ideal time for some of you, and the weather might have put a few people off from turning up on the day.

So we'll be back to our October slot in 2015 - thanks very much, and see you then.

Special mention to several Track-dayists who couldn't make it at the eleventh hour, but still donated their money to the charity - I think I love you.
