Slight diversion here but has anyone tried using a 'Gulf' colours centre stripe on their P&J?

Maybe I'm getting carried away now....scratchchin Next I'll be adding a big number to the bonnet...come to think about it...ideabiglaugh
Google is your friend...."Porsche 993 Gulf Stripes" and look at the images!

How about white stripes?

How do these magnetic stripes work then (other than being magnetic of course!) - guessing unlike vinyl they sit slightly proud of the bodywork? Or are they surprisingly thin?

Seems a fun way to brighten up a car but surely they can't be that secure...I'd be worried about scratching paint too.

Just spotted Mollys Gulf stripe from a couple of years ago on another forum.
Looks great to me. The orange contrasts the blue beautifully. I might have a winner!cloud9

Where did you get those cool stripes from Molly?shout

I love the Gulf colours also. I bought a caterham that was done in Gulf colours then bought an Ariel Atom and i did it in full Gulf colours. The only Atom in UK in those colours. Cant wait to get my Martini colours sorted for the Spyder

White stripes are American national racing colours (British green: French blue; German silver: Japan white etc), so don't really go on a Brits German car.

Nope. LE is a Turbo SE without the flat nose, so that car would be an SE if anything though I'm guessing not a factory SE, maybe a later mod? Although I see it has the rear 1/4 intakes so maybe factory?

Cool car either way. cool

Look forward to seeing that. Did you buy a kit or get them made-up yourself?
