6/7 GT3 air con is 25kgs complete

street car air con will not function properly when the car is driven hard on track in this weather.
are you just referring to 996? 997 GT3 air on works fine on track, for as long as reasonably needed. I have done many hours in my 997GT3 on trackdays at 45degs+ and it's been cold all day. My car is not uk spec so may have beefed up air con I must caveat.
Same here S1MMA. Mine was a 996. Never had a problem with AC on track in Dubai. I wonder if there really is some truth after all to all that "GCC spec" guff the local market insists on?

996 worked fine on the street and for touring but never really effective on fast circuits like Spa & the Ring in high summer, just seemed to stop blowing cold constantly so always needed to drop a window and turn it off..

To be fair, I used to turn it off anyway when I was really on it.

You should try an Aston Vantage GT4. It blows like a furnace when the engine is under load.
