Mine has a sunroof, I know of a few that do on here, for a car that's used for euro trips it's great to be able to open it up and listen to the Metzger flat 6 as you blat through the alps.

To be fair mine is the full Monty comfort spec with the following options,

Full leather dash with extended leather and alcantara to door cards.
Sports chrono.
Sports exhaust.
Adaptive sports seats.
PCM 2 sat nav with phone.
Climate control.
Sun roof.
Cruise control.
Thicker sports steering wheel in leather.
It's even got an umbrella next to the passenger seat.

I didn't buy the car for track-days so the spec is perfect for my requirements.
I understand that a sunroof places slightly more weight high up and reduces torsional rigidity by a margin but unless you can drive like Steve Rance you wont notice it at all, these cars limits are so far beyond the limit of most drivers.

Though for a track-day car I totally understand the appeal of the club sport pack.
Don't get me wrong, big sunroof fan here and use mine regularly on my turbo with weather like this. I Know the purists scoff at such things on GT cars so I thought it odd that a Porsche specialist would get a simple detail wrong in an ad:

"and standard features include an electric sunroof, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) & Porsche Traction Management (PTM), Bi-Xenon headlights, 19" GT3 wheels and alcantara detailing.

Factory-fitted options include the Porsche Sound Pack Plus, satellite navigation, Sport Chrono Pack Plus and heated seats"

there again adverst with standard spec listed as exciting cost options is a pet hate of mine so maybe I notice these things more than most

The umbrella option I think is standard for all GT3's even going back to the MK1 996. Each was fitted with the space by the passenger door. It is just some of them forgot to include the actual umbrella!!
Since this is missing a smiley - All 996 and 997 model 911s have the slot for the umbrella. None came with it as standard though - you have to acquire it from an OPC (if you were buying a car from one, you could probably talk them into including it to sweeten the deal). On 997s even the first aid kit is not supplied as standard.

It's a telescopic umbrella that folds down very small and goes into a small leather tube like cover.

Told my wife I bought her a new umbrella, it was pricey but did come with a free GT3 biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Me too! My son keeps his Polo mints, phone and general clutter in there!

Off to the online auction sites now to look for a genuine brolly...

Found one! £68.95...

Indeed. RRP is £60 from the Porsche web site or your local dealer...
