Obviously I am going mad then. Because I distinctly remember you talking about spending 20k on it to make it handle. Or at least whatever your definition of handling is.

And this is the first time you mention not even going through a tank of fuel.
I think you will find that I made reference that my understanding is you can spend 20k plus on these cars...in order to sort......

This is why I feel that the 2.7rs, despite the gains over recent years still have some way to go, when compared to the same linage at the time from the likes of Ferrari....

If the 2.7rs increase then this will have a knock on effect down the range...
Yes. It will be interesting to see if the homoligated cars increase disproportionately to other RS's

I would say that the 64RS is the drivers fav porshce, this is reflected in the prices, with the 6RS no one wants it...its all very well saying when set up,"ie 20k etc) they are this and they are that.....but out of the box its an absolute dog....worst car I have ever had handling wise, right up there with 348F
Thank you...Happy to stand on every word.....but also happy to be corrected....

I accept that a poor set up Geo can make a massive difference. I called both my 991GT3 and TTS being Geo out within few 100yds, on track the TTS drove like a "ringer"

Once checked both were out and by a large margin....once corrected both cars were astonishingly good..

If you are going to track the car, i'd take it to a tuner with good experience like Parr, Tech 9, Motobase, JZM.

I suspect that you had a dog of a set up on your first car so would be very interested in how you find this one once its been set up.

how does cars for sale equate to more cars on the way? I know a few GT3 owners that it was always been there intention to sell on, just those cars coming to market now the engines are being fixed.....once the cars find actual owners I would expect the car for sale to dry up...

132 cars that's it not a lot......

Given there wasn't any for sale a while back and now there are 7 suggests the game is up small.
Plus remember i can place an order with my OPC for delivery next spring at current list price.
Doesn't tempt me to pay 130k for a second hand vehicle

Premiums are less than 10k now, and will surely get back to list

of course mermaid u are spot on. Porsche don't care about residuals by limiting numbers of main stream cars for customers. That's laughable. They are a money making machine and a damn good one

also very good at brand value through Ltd, halo cars, as for a car next year, good luck with that one, deposits are being returned.....

as for residuals, its only 100k to start with...along with 20k to cheap, and with the RS at well over 200k....it will soon seem a bargain.

The next best car from a track point is the 458 Speciale and that's 250k.....

best car I have ever driven at any price point....

Ok interesting although no indication from OPC about returning deposits.

plus and this is the point apolo...with the 997 speedster, 997 sport classic 9t3 rs4 and gt2 rs they SPECIFICALLY said the car is a limited edition number car they have NEVER said that about the 991 GT3

New plans to expand Zuffenhausen by 2020 tells me unless otherwise stated production will catch up APOLO. Makes sense no?
