Approx 24 metres.
Isn't it 15m. Aren't you using the final velocity rather than average/actual velocity? Not that it matters, it's bloody quick. Distance travelled = 30 (mph) x .447 (metres per second) x 2.2 seconds. This would be around 29 metres before the car hit 60 mph?
Probably a bit less as the average speed will be a bit higher than 30 since 0-30 takes less time than 30-60 but it's giving me a headache thinking about it. I should have gone to university....
Edit: I think it's:
60mph/2.2 seconds = 27 mph average = 12.2 metres per second for 2.2 seconds = 27m?
Assuming constant acceleration:
x=((v0+v1)/2)*t where velocity is in m/s
x=((0+26.82)/2)*2.2 = 29.50m

has anyone seen the 918 ?
F**in HUGE, looks like a slab-sided blob, bus like
real shame IMO, just makes the CGT seem even more the real deal
Not sure how you derive at a bus looking,must have nice buses in your part the world.F**in HUGE, looks like a slab-sided blob, bus like

I admit when i saw the pre production model,i thought that dont look great,and the cgt looks better.but now its out,it looks nice.its very similar in size to the cgt.

Is this the Saturday morning 'special' maths club?

Well done. I hope you feel better being a lot cleverer than me. Have you got a special formula for everything? Assuming constant acceleration:
x=((v0+v1)/2)*t where velocity is in m/s
x=((0+26.82)/2)*2.2 = 29.50m
at 60 mph, the 918 will have travelled 114ft. Its takes 7ft or one wheel rotation to hit 16mph

no help from me required, the car will talk for it self....a few about with a bit of history though.. but no more than others, taking into account that the cars have been enjoyed...Now you going to own one guess what ' it's the best car in the world and worth double what I paid for it'
