True but no one will be making 919 replicas in 30 years, they'll still be trying to make 962's as good as this one!

Clive would you ever consider building these for customers? I would really be interested as I am sure many people would be also.

Nice piece but due to the extra rack travel ( seeing as we can get 30+ deg of steering angle ) I needed 150 mm total travel... And there normal travel is only 120mm the extra travel meant a none std rack bar which doubled the cost of the rack.... So the smaller turning circle cost extra basically....

Worth it though as a car of that size will need all the help it can get.

This may seems like a silly question but the 997 loom we are trying to install in the 962 project, exactly how does it work ?? it does not turn like a normal key switch and stay there. Whats the normal sequence insert key then push in further to get normal ignition circuit to come on ??? HELP

Think we got it.... Put the Key in, then press the key in that brings on the dash, then rotate for the starter..... Trust someone to think (Yes lets redesign a key switch as turning it 10 deg's to ign then turning it a further 10 deg's to the starter is just to hard)...

FBW Throttle working now from the bench and the OBDII scan tool is reading all the engine sensors ok, so engine start isn't to far away nuts

Good stuff smile

Built a few cars over the years, always found installing the wiring loom exciting in one respect but no matter how well you fit it tends to look somewhat ugly compared with all the fine looking mechanical parts !

Normally, insert the key and the steering lock unlocks, turn to first pos and dash lights up, second pos and it cranks then springs back to first.

You may need to depress clutch (or the sensor switch for the pedal) too to start the engine for a GT3.
